Aileen Boyce holds her Master of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She began studying fine art in high school at Moorestown Friends School in the Art Studio Program. During this time she began taking weekend figure drawing classes at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. It was in these classes that she discovered a connection to interpreting the human form.


At Earlham College she majored in Fine Art and Political Science. She spent college summers in Philadelphia and Baltimore and took additional summer figure drawing and painting classes at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, The University of the Arts and the Maryland Institute
​College of Art.


After graduating from Earlham, she moved to San Francisco and took advanced oil painting courses at the San Francisco Art Institute. She came back to the East coast for graduate school at the School of Visual Arts, where she received her MFA.


Aileen lives and works in New York.
